Bryce Canyon Utah Astronomy Festival- Summer Star Viewing
| | Brian Brinkerhoff | June 20, 2006 |
|
| Bryce Canyon is offering great nighttime viewing throughout the summer beginning with their Astronomy Festival June 21-24. In partnership with the Salt Lake Astronomical Society, Bryce Canyon National Park will host the Sixth Annual Festival and share the dark skies with visitors to the park. Gather under one of the last grand sanctuaries of dark skies and enjoy the splendors and wonders of starry nights! This event is for the general public whether one is an astronomy buff or has only a casual interest in the night sky. Visitors have the opportunity to look through numerous telescopes in the evening, courtesy of the Salt Lake Astronomical Society. During the day, visitors can safely view the sun through the park’s special solar telescope or attend the many workshops. |
