P.S.T. Calcium K 393.4nm
Team Coronado continues to discover and share cutting edge technology to the delight of solar enthusiast world wide. I’m grateful to view and image our closest star from either side of the rainbow.
P.S.T. Calcium K Active Region 798 @ 393.4nm
I’m astonished at the resolution and clarity of our Sun through Coronado’s soon to be released P.S.T. Calcium K scope. From the moment of first light I’ve been mesmerized by the optical performance found within the P.S.T. CaK. This precision intrinsic to the finest Hydrogen-alpha and Calcium K telescope/filter manufacturer is constant.
Delicate Calcium K supergranulation cells are remarkably solid and prominences's once described as a rarity are now established and considered an integral part of the SolarMax 70 CaK and inherent in the P.S.T. CaK.Imaging techniques through the P.S.T. CaK from both afocal and a dedicated CCD chip camera’s were equally impressive and accomplished with ease.Congratulations Team Coronado!SteadySkies,   g a r y    p a l m e r
