While observers and imagers are enjoying our sun’s beauty, their experiencing the thrill of a star that’s full of life.
With our closest star at solar minimum it’s activity is far from minimum, and this week is no exception. With spots, filaments and prominences all in abundance.

This mosaic of active regions 893,892, and a long filament which only yesterday morphed into a beautiful prominence over the western limb is simply becoming routine.
