New Features included in AutoStar Suite Update 4:
1) New Zoom Feature – This feature allows you to zoom in on any area of the deep sky object or planet you are previewing within the envisage software. Extremely useful for focusing, simply zoom in on a star and focus to pin-point sharpness.
2) Improved Color Algorithm – The new improved color algorithm generates better quality color. This improvement will be easily noticeable for all users of the Lunar Planetary Imager, Deep Sky Imager, and new Deep Sky Imager II.
3) High Gain feature – The new High Gain feature allows you to get the most out of your Deep Sky Imager. Simply select the “High Gain” check box and watch as your image detail is dramatically enhanced. This feature is selectable for the original models of the Deep Sky Imager, and can be selected at the users discretion. For the new Deep Sky Imager II this feature is “built-in” and is not selectable.
4) Web Exposure – overwrites the same file over and over so you can use it in a web page.
5) Single exposure - takes only one shot when start is pushed and then stops automatically.
6) Track Last button - in the telescope tab, the “Track Last” button will cause the telescope to track to the last position that was tracked instead of tracking to the current position. |
