Computer does not recognise DSI Pro

Installed all the Meade software (latest updates V5 Autostar and V7+ Envisage via download) on new dual core laptop running XP Home (SP3). Software works fine, but the computer does not recognise the DSI (sees it as an unknown USB device) when I plug it in. The new hardware wizard can't find the driver, despite me pointing the wizard to "System32\drivers etc.  The DSI works fine on my earlier laptop in either USB1 or USB 2 sockets (same Meade software standards but single core XP Home SP3 OS, also same USB cable). Can someone who understands software give me some help? I am running v 3.0 of dotnet.

Mark,

After every shutdown or re-boot the computer fails to recognise the DSI ("Unknown USB device") and I have to re-install the Driver. Also although after re-insatll the DSI works as advertised with Envisage, it does not work with MaxIM DLV5. I get an error message saying the Camera link has failed. I am using a direct link computer to DSI. This problem is not evident on my old system (beginning to wonder why I changed!!!) and I have overwritten the DSI driver file in MaxIm.

I have the same problem with MaxIM DLV5. Works fine with envisage 7.05
