Mark,

After the succesful install of the DSI driver, I am finding that after every shutdown or re-boot the computer fails to recognise the DSI ("Unknown USB device") and I have to re-install the Driver. Also although after re-insatll the DSI works as advertised with Envisage, it does not work with MaxIM DLV5. I get an error message saying the Camera link has failed. I am using a direct link computer to DSI. This problem is not evident on my old system (beginning to wonder why I changed!!!) and I have already overwritten the DSI driver file in MaxIm to ensure driver compatibility was not the issue. (I also posted this on our previous dialogue by mistake!!

Generally if you keep the same usb port and manually point it to the driver it stays.
Next time if this happens make sure you keep the same port and manually point it to the driver.
When you get this done  do a cold boot.
A cold boot is start menu   turn off
A lot of times things dont take effect on just a reboot.
As for the Maxim issue you will need to find out from the Maxim group.
Im more than sure Doug or someone there can help you on that end.

Regards

Mark

Mark,

Thanks again for the prompt and helpful response. The MaxIm problem has Doug's team scratching their heads too!
