Newbie Here but not that new to Astronomy fixing to buy a LightBridge

Hello everyone Just a line to say hi and give you just a little bit about myself.I am not new to viewing but I am in no way experienced either.I started viewing way back in the 70's and I have viewed off and on all this time.However I would just grab up the little Meade 70mm or my Simmons Bino's and would just look not really pinpointing anything.I recently bought a used Celestron Nexstar 114 SLT (CHEAP) and have been playing around with it but the goto is not for me.My son is going to buy it and in a few weeks I am going to take the big plunge and get a Meade 10in Lightbridge.I have always liked the truss tube and with my disabilities I think that will be all I will want to try and handle.I want to see the faint fuzzys alot better than what my bino's or the 70 or even the 114 can see. I have Star charts,planisphere,etc.I have a spiral bound copy of NightWatch by Dickenson,Awsome book by the way.Got it at a used book store for 5 bucks. Well thats about it for now.
