I can't seem to get my Meade Series 5000 80mm APO to focus with the Meade .63 fr attached.  My image train coming from the focus tube is: (1) .63 fr; (2) short adapter to an Orion manual filter wheel; (3) Orion filter wheel; (4) DSI II Pro with the Scopestuff low profile adapter screwed directly into the back of the filter wheel.  I tried extension tubes between the filter wheel and the DSI II Pro to no avail. My problem is that I can't get enough in-focus.  I'm thinking that maybe a different arrangement would make this all work.  Any help?

use this
Imager=focal reducer=filter wheel then scope.
Although you should have the infocus as I use the same setup and can put the focal reducer on either side of the filter wheel.
I hope you are not using a diagonal.
It will not work on a diagonal and you must go straight to the scope.

Mark:

Thanks.  I'll give it a try.  I'm not using a diagonal.
