Finally Fixed
I have had such a problem for months now and fig. it out, for me anyway.
It all steams from the short wire you get with the camera. The wire gets pulled
from one side and the other when telescope slews. I had a hell of a time with camera
not staying connected and error messages.
I just happened to have a printer that no longer worked. So I went to radio shack and
bought a desoldering iron for 11 bucks and took out the female plug from the back
of the printer. Then I opened the dsi took that plug out and soldered the other plug in.
I fig. if I messed up the dsi so what it was not working for me anyway. Went to the computer
started autostar  and started envisage clicked image and, WHAM BAM THANK YOU MAM, it worked.....
I even droped the camera off desk while doing a test image and it kept on going. Yea for me

I just got a DSI II and this USB error is cropping up occasionally,at least tonight I have not been getting the complete failure of the DSI I had last night. Envisage does crash periodically. Maybe I'll try nebulosity, it seems to be pretty popular ( hopefully it;s more stable than the meade software)
