Dear all,

I'd like to find out the specifications (diameter and pitch) for the 3 radially positioned bolts needed to attach the base of an RCX400 10'' to a wedge (or any other surface). Additionally, the same data for the central bolt would also be welcome.

Yours truly,

Serge

If mounting on a wedge the center bolt is 1/2 13.
Most wedges do not have holes drilled for the other 3 bolts.
I have my 10 inch LX200 mounted on a wedge in the OBS with only the 1/2 13 bolt and it has been there for years with no problems.
I hope this helps.

Regards

Mark

Dear Mark,

Thank you very much for your valuable info.
As I am trying to attach the scope to the top surface of a stiff (but wooden) carrying case, using the radial bolts will provide more stability, by distributing the local torque in the supporting top surface. (Nice for travelling with the scope!) Would you happen to know their specs?

Yours truly,

Serge
