LX50 with Magellan I

Hello!  I'm new to the community and this is my first post with a question.  I will obtain an LX50 shortly and I ran across a Magellan I system for sale.  Will the Magellan I work ok with the LX50?  I read the Magellan I manual online and it doesn't really specify, so any help would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance!
