In my LX200-ACF images taken with a DSLR at prime focus, each star looks as it would through a prism (each star has a red side and a blue side).  I can't figure out what is wrong.  I'd appreciate any help.

Speaking from my fast field of imaging ignorance, (and I am speaking very factually) my best guess is that there is an error of some sort related to the alignment of the camera's optical surface and the telescope.  If you do not see this looking through the telescope with your eye, I would doubt that the trouble is in the telescope.  Please remember, this is a guess.

Hope this helps,

When shooting through a one shot color camera you shoot through a bayer matrix on the chip. Each color focuses a bit differently and will cause this.
You can split the channels and try to re align them to correct the offset.
I hope this helps
