Recent Moon threads inspired me to try some A-focal Moon shots with my Sony A-200.

These are the best shots I have taken so far! Each one is a single exposure, No stacking. Each shot is also at ISO 100. I have not gotten that deep into this. Baby steps....

1.
Exposure time 1/13 sec....

2.
Exposure time 1/13 sec again....

3.
Exposure time 1/8 sec...

4.
Exposure time 1/8 sec again....

5.
Exposure time 1/13 sec...

I should of tried the Moon Filter to increase details by having a longer exposure time. I will try it out next time. Smiley

6.
Here is a pic of my last best Moon shot through a 20mm eyepiece.....

Which one is your favorite?
Mine is #3

Good start but I'm afraid you've got the dreaded dust specks (one of the worst enemies of lunar imaging). Although your contrast between light and dark areas is very good, I can see some color fringes that are best deal with by an image processing program.

Much better than my first effort.
