Hello to all, I have been having a problem collimating my 8" LX90. I just noticed that the secondary is not tight. Where the bob's knobs go, it will shift maybe 1/8"inside nthe glass. I have removed the secondary and tried to tighten it but it seems to run out of threads before tightening. There is a felt washer on each side of the glass.
Does anyone know how to get this tight? Also, could this be part of my collimation problem?
Regards to all and clear skies, bob

I understood that there were springs between the corrector and the secondary that maintains tension on the screws. No springs?

thanks for the reply John. There are no springs. The secondary housing with bob\b knobs attached, shoves through the glass and  threads  onto the back of the secondary.
Sorry I'm so bad at explaining, bob

Did the springs possibly pop off when you installed Bob's Knobs.  Are they inside the optical tube?
