Donald,

'Scuse me!  In the preceding post it is Mark not Mike.  That was not really a typo, it was more like a "braino."

No Problems.
We do our best to eliminate all posts like that and I moderate the membership to the best of my ability.
Sometines one slips by and if I dont catch it Bill does.
We have a good system going here and with Bills great help not much gets by us but when it does you can bet it it removed asap.

Regards

Mark

KIETH&cohorts-I was just over at the weasner site and i sat reading one guys rendition of the problems he's having with his ETXLS.boy is he maad.i have to admit that i had a grin on my face.he expresses himself quite well.one guy is trying to find out how to align it correctly,it just can't seem to get it right.all i could think of is to stand in front of it with the controller in hand, bring it to the level position, raise your shotgun, and FIERRR!!!!!

MARK&BILL AND EVERYONE-a rep from MEADE sales called me and we talked for awhile.i told him what happened and he said they would take the scope and do repairs.i attempted to negotiate but didn't have much luck.i realize he has a job to do and he was very courteous and fended me off like a trooper.i explained that other  people were having the same problems, not just mine and i urged him to read the forums.he's going to call me tomorrow and relate on the situation with THE BOSS.there's more to it but it's too early to go into it.i'll know more tomorrow.i have owned 5 MEADE scopes(i just didn't put them all in one of the letters)LX10(too heavy)returned it (was used)an etx90(little beauty)LX90(shoulda kept it)ETX125(sold it for etxls).all of those scopes were great.i hope that all will turn out well.  HELLO guys here's what's going on.i called telescopes.com and told them about the etxls and after speaking to the manager, they have agreed to take it back and sell me an LX90.the LX90 has GPS so the lights behind me won't bother me.Iwant to say THANKYOU to everyone that contacted me on this especially MARK & BILL for their interest and MARK for getting me somewhere with MEADE.if it wasn't for your help, i would't have gone ahead as i did and  BILL  thank you for your advice and  calming me in this situation.telescopes .com(hayneedle) are friendly toward their customers.even if they didn't take it back(cause it was past the return date)i'd still say they were nice.Well, that's a heads up and i'll talk to you later.  Don      P/S the scope seems to be working fine now but trusting it to stay that way is another thing.

Bill, thanks for writing back,i was lucky to say the least.it's a good thing i had help or the outcome might have been different.the scope should be here by friday and even though it's cold out,i'll probably take it  out during the day just to get the feel of it.i'll probably be needing some expert knowledge along the way and i hope you and mark and other forum friends  might be there once again.the LS is a nice scope and i hope they get the bugs out.talk to you soon    Don
