Sandisk card

I saw that there was a 1.3 version ow for the software. I tried to update my scope using the usb connection but it failed. I drug the files for the update and put it on a sandisk card and tried it that way but it seems like i fad to jam the card into the slot hope it didn't break. Anyway still no update. Anyone know if it is hard to put the card in or should it fit passively

v 1.3 can be downloaded and installed via autostar updater v5.9.1 only. you cant drag and drop. Also the ETX-LS uses miniSD not SD so I hope you used the correct one.
The software can be downloaded from www.meade.com from a newly posted link on their home page.
It takes awhile to prepair the card so dont rush - its a 200mb download that downloads, instals and then verifies itself.
Ignore the 'switch to Mysky" button for now - that will prepair the card for updating the database of objects. All the basic objects are installed with 1.3 (or 13 as it appears in teh list).
