Can't get DSI II to work consistantly

After struggeling for months with an LPI, I bought a DSI II (Color). First time I hooked it up to the computer (inside ), I got the following error after plugging in the USB cable, and bringing up envisage:

Dsi.DsiDeviceException: Firmware command was rejected
at Dsi.DsiDevice.Command(DeviceCommand command.UInt32 setting)
at Dsi.DsiDevice.set_RowCountEven(Uint16 value)
at Meade.Imager.DSI.InitImager(String ImagerName)

Hope I got that correct, the error box does not allow copy/paste

I uninstalled the autostar suite, re-installed, plugged in the DSI, brought up envisage, and it worked.

Tonight, I got the telescope out, plugged in the DSI and the error is back...

I'm using 23 bit Vista, Envisage 7.06

Help...Severely Frustrated Meade user...

I'm pretty new at this stuff,but, I've noticed that most everybody has been downloading firmware,or software to correct problems.Maybe you could try it?
