It's been awhile since these were posted and no answers so I figured I'd come here,now with the problem with the computer ,all I did was to delete everything Meade related and reinstalled Autostar Suite(problem solved I hope). The new equipment,I received on Wednesday, took me 7 hours to figure out and install correctly(maybe) after deleting,again,everything Meade related and reinstalling,starting with the USB to RS232 cable,then the 505 cable and software,and finally downloading the rest of the information that I had deleted.Now I'm up and running,to where I don't know,but I'm doing it an increditable rate.Good luck to the rest of you who might have issues.
