Is it just me or has this been one of the cloudiest winters ever? I live in the midwest and we have only had a handful of clear nights here since November. Usually this only happens when I have bought a something new for the scope.

I live in the Pacific Northwest so our wintwers are usually pretty low on viewable nights.  That being said, this has been the worst year I have seen for cloud cover.  Since November I have had 2 nights that were clear enough to enjoy and both of them ended early due to incoming weather.  That's it.  I am hoping to get some better viewing in Feb (we usually do) but I will refrain from holding my breath.

God yes!!!!
I have been socked in for 3 weeks now, and when it was clear it was 3°F outside!
It looks like it will be cloudy all week in St.Louis area and maybe be clear Saturday at 20°F. I may go for it on Saturday if it isn't windy. Cold is one thing, wind is another. LOL

Yes, but a deserved rest after logging over 300 hours on Sidewalk and public outreach last year for IYA.
