Windows 7....

Hi Everyone....Well, after finally getting things up and running smoothly in XP,  it looks like I may be needing a new computer.  Of course all the new ones have Windows 7.  What is the consensus opinion of Windows 7 and the Meade programs?  Should I shoot for new or look for a 2nd hand XP machine?......George

Hi Again....Looks like I found my answer under DSI CCD Camera heading.  Thanks Justin.  Looks like I've got my answer on the concensus about Windows 7.....looks like Meade is continuing to be a little behind the times....nothing new.  Anyway, it's nice to have a "fix" available if I can't get this XP machine up and running again.....George

It seems a company based on cutting edge technology would be leading the way. Obviously OS 7 and 64 bit processing is the not in the future but it is the now. Working on my second LX 200 I now question the wisdom of this second purchase.
