Does anyone know if Meade is planning on coming out with another DSI camera or did they just give up on the camera biz? For the money I have really enjoyed my DSI's and they work very well as autoguiders too.

I havnt heard anything but i think they have been discontinued.

I think Meade did a pretty good job on their DSI line. I was sorry to see them drop out of the imaging market but perhaps the profit wasn't there. I continue to use my DSI Pro II and get pretty good images from it - especially in dark skies.

Some of the modified webcams are a lot cheaper and that's the route I'm looking at.
