Hi,

Just took delivery of a Meade LightBridge 10" Dob. Easy to build and take apart. However, I now have the urge to carry out some mods. These are namely:

Add a setting circle on the base and a digital inclinometer for something akin to GoTo. Next I need to find an App for my iPhone to use for co ordinate finding whilst using the scope. People recommend SkySafari - but I cant see it in the app store.

Levelling feet. Even my patio isnt 100% level, so taking the scope out to a dark sky venue will need some kind of levelling.

The next will certainly be a replacement / addition to the red dot finder. Most pics Ive seen of lightBridges seem to opt for a TelRad and / or an 8X finderscope.

Eyepieces / filters - these will have to wait til I can save some money up.

If anybody has done any mods on their LightBridges, I would love to hear about them.

I've bought two accessories for my Lightbridge, other then EP's. A light shroud and a telrad. I love the both!!
