I have a 12" LX200 (fork-mounted) on an Astro Pier with the Astro Pier polar alignment (inclined plate). Will the 14" LX850 work with my Astro Pier when I upgrade?

I was just notified by Telescopes.com that they have cancelled my order for the LX 850 14" With no explanation for the cancellation. They blame it on Meade, and I have had it on order for 16 months. And I am very upset.    Can a  Meade representative help out??? I really thought that Telescopes.com was upstanding company to order from, but I was wrong.

Thats really scary.  I've had the 10" LX600 on order for a year & i talked with them last week & they indicated they anticipated shipping this week.  They contacted Meade while i was on hold & then old me this.  I sure hope they don't cancel because they have removed the scope i ordered, the one with a wedge, from their listings.  Very curious.  Have u tried Astronomics?  I've seen posts by people that have had success with obtaining these newer Meade offerings from them.  Best of luck & let us know.

I have also have great success with Woodland Hills telescopes.net (notice the difference).
